Mangalore, Jul 31: Sri Rama Sene chief Pramod Mutalik on Sunday July 31 lambasted the union government and the National Advisory Council on the issue of the proposed Prevention of Communal Violence Bill, calling it anti-Hindu.

Speaking at a press meet here on Sunday, Mutalik said that the union government was trying hard to appease the minorities and the proposed Bill was just another way to create a vote-bank.

Noting that the Advisory Council which drafted the Bill included members mostly from the minority communities 'who were anti-Hindu', he said that the Council should have included representatives of the Hindu community too, like swamis and heads of Mutts.

He also made a reference to Bhatkal's alleged links with terror outfits and called for a thorough investigation, and when asked about RSS links, rubbished the allegation.

Among those present were Kumar Malemar, Prasad Attavar and others.
