Udupi: Arashinagundi falls missing youth case - Mortal remains found

Udupi, Jul 30: The mortal remains of Sharath, who tragically slipped and fell into the Arashinagundi Falls on Sunday, July 23 around 3 pm, were discovered on Sunday, July 30.

The search operation, involving Kollur police, fire service personnel, and local residents, led to the recovery of Sharath's body approximately 200 meters below the accident site. The body was found wedged underneath a rock. Sharath, hailing from Bhadravathi, had visited Arashinagundi Falls on July 23 for sightseeing.



For a week, determined efforts were made to locate Sharath's remains. Teams from Eshwar Malpe, Kotiraj, police, fire service personnel, and local volunteers collaborated in the extensive search operation.
