Mangaluru: Violence erupted in Manipur due to BJP’s vote bank, hate politics - Congress

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (EP)

Mangaluru, July 31: “The violence and dirty deeds in Manipur are a witness to the vote bank politics of BJP. Therefore, Congress is reaping love in places where BJP has sown hatred,” said Congress spokesperson Sudhir Maroli.

He was addressing protesters in front of the Mahatma Gandhi statue at Lalbagh here on Monday, July 31, condemning the violence in Manipur.

“Prime Minister Modi never condemned the violence in Manipur as wrong. The hatred of Modi, actions against the constitution is based on the British principle of 'divide and rule'. We only have the constitution to protect us. We do not want Modi’s rule in the land of India any more. We need the India of Gandhi,” he said.

“The statement of the governor during the visit of I.N.D.I.A alliance to Manipur that a multi-party delegation is necessary to solve the problem of Manipur, shows the female mentality. Only such mentality enables people to live in peace,” he said.

“We should understand that it is the demon’s mindset of the government which remains indifferent to the repeated violence against women and we will have to raise our voice against it. Most of the MLAs who tore bills and threw them on the deputy speaker at the recent Vidhana Sabha session were from Dakshina Kannada district," he said.

"BJP targets educational institutions to take the district to the stone age for their politics. The efforts of the Congress party should be of Kudmul Rangarao and Hajabba,” he said.

Former minister B Ramanath Rai said that the government at the Centre is dead and the prime minister who could not control the unrest in the small state has become silent.

Former MLA J R Lobo, Ivan D’ Souza, Congress district president Harish Kumar, Mahila Congress president Shalet Pinto, Mamata Gatti, Kavita Sanil and others condemned the incidents in Manipur.

Suresh Balla, Mithun Rai, Shashidhar Hegde, Padmaraj R, R K Prathviraj, Lukman Bantwal, Prakash Salian, Abdul Salim, Navin D’Souza, Surendra Kambli, Baby Kunder, Purushotham Chitrapur, Vishwas Das, Joachim D’ Souza,  Lawrence D’ Souza, Mohan Gowda, Suhan Alva, Shekar Kukkeri, district Congress office-bearers, corporators and activists were present.

Why don't you guys go to Manipur and say the same things and do as you did in Mangalore? And yes, say it loud that your name is Ivan D'Souza. There is a huge population who are very angry precisely because of large scale conversions that Missionaries did there. Bring politics in the mix, you are adding fuel to the fire.

Dont be so selective in protests. We have burning issues in our state and you are silent about it. Thats the reason for Congress demise in the DK. For Manipur you are all guns blazing. Half of Karnataka do not know where Manipur, Kukis, Nagas or Methis and are least bothered. They just want freebies.

Why Kuki community lawyer is against CBI investigation? It's time to solve this mess created by Congress. Modi already sorted Kashmir and now it will be north east. Now north east will be national issue and will be easier for Modi to cracked down on anti nationals and refugee in North east.

No communal attack can take place in our country without the head of the state or political party giving the order to attack. If the chief minister or PM gives the order, the police can stop the violence in 24 hours, no doubt about it. The Police Officer told us, " if we are given a free hand, and told to stop the violence, any violence and in any state, we are able to control in 24 hours". If it does not stop, means the order has come from the the top to continue. Gujarat was that. Manipur is also that. So, what do we do, when the order comes from govt to kill. Govt wants the Kukis to be displaced, so that the minerals and metals in that area can be extracted by Adani.

Fakus ignited fire in Manipur and hide behind curtains from May2023 till now. Finally rape videoes opened the eyes of everyone including western nations. Now every nations know how the fekus lectures on international stages and act like saint but reality is different. Time has come many nations will stop trusting the people and look at suspiciously.. this is what happens when people say something and reality is different. Be a good human and leaders of nation where people has to feel the goodness than curse for bad behaviours. Look at Manipur today do you know who is responsible for all these communalism and rapes based on religious hatred? It’s sad but sooner all these fekus will be cursed by these victims of Manipur. In 2024 please donot vote for hatred policians who distrupt peace based on vote bank politics
