Kasargod: 16-year-old Allwyn Sebastian drowns in water-filled pit

Kasargod, Aug 1: In a tragic incident that is reported from Neeleshwara Bangala, a boy drowned in a pit filled with water.

The deceased is identified as Allwyn Sebastian (16), a resident of Bangala Karikundu. The incident took place on Monday July 31 evening.

Allwyn got down into the quarry pit filled with water, along with his friends near his house when the mishap occurred.

Though search was carried out for drowned boy, he could not be traced. On Tuesday August 1, fire service personnel who arrived from Kannur and diving experts brought the body out from water.

The mortal remains are kept in district hospital for post-mortem.

    Very sad.Such pits are very dangerous.One shouldnt get down when you dont know swimming.or wear a warn west or go with friends who know swimming.Heartfelt sympathy to parents.May his soul rest in peace.Now why PM when he dead while swimming.?Cant bring him back.young fellow.
