Mangaluru, Aug 3: Bajpe police confiscated 250 grams of Charas and a car worth Rs seven lac and arrested one person.
Police were checking vehicles near Mura Nagara on Wednesday August 2 when a car without registration number arrived and did not stop even when police showed signs to stop the vehicle. The driver lost control over the vehicle and hit a tree.
The cops arrested Abdul Azeez (34), resident of Soorinje Kinnigudde. On checking they found charas weighing 250 grams in the car. Another accused escaped from the spot. It is learnt that he is Cabaray Faizal, a resident of Todar in Moodbidri. Police are on the hunt for him.
