Mangaluru Junction railway station upgradation - PM Modi to lay foundation stone on Aug 6

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Aug 3: “The union government has decided to upgrade Mangaluru Junction railway station to international standard under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay foundation for the same through video conferencing on August 6,” said MP Nalin Kumar Kateel.

Nalin also thanked PM Modi and union railway minister Ashwini Vaishnav, who took the initiative to upgrade Mangaluru Junction train station to an international level.

Union finance minister Nirmala Sitaraman had announced that Mangaluru Junction, Mangaluru Central, Bantwal and Subramanya railway stations will be upgraded under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme in the budget of 2023 – 24.

Mangaluru Junction train station will be upgraded at a cost of Rs 19.32 crore. Development of other train stations under this scheme will be undertaken soon.

Mangalore is in need of a modern railway station, as well as the introduction of the Vande Bharat Express to operate between Mumbai and Mangalore via Goa. While Mr. Nalin Kumar faces some challenges in effective communication, I believe he has made commendable progress in improving the road infrastructure. Thanks to his efforts, we have witnessed the widening of Bikkarnakatte and Moodabidri, the construction of the New Kulur Bridge, Nanthoor, and KPT flyovers, and the enhancement of the Gurupura Bridge. Moving forward, it is crucial for Mr. Nalin Kumar to fulfill the promises made during the Lok Sabha elections. The BJP's focus should be on promoting development, generating employment opportunities, improving healthcare, and simplifying tax and compliance requirements to foster a conducive business environment. Additionally, it is essential to protect and preserve Indian culture and languages such as Tulu and Kodava by declaring them official languages. It would be beneficial for the BJP to avoid stirring communal tensions and concentrate solely on these important aspects to ensure progress and prosperity in the region.

Check your facts Mr Sense Shetty. The new Kulur bridge work has been stopped as the firm which was supposed to build it , left the work mid-way and is untraceable. How much of public money was eaten by these rogues without even burping, will the great Nalin answer? KPT & Nanthoor flyovers are a pipedream.

Central Government contribution to Mangalore is excellent. Priority is given to our city in many important schemes including Smart City. We are so proud to elect Modi as PM. World never witnessed strong leader like Mr, Modi, no doubt he is one of the strongest leader in the world right now. Gulams and its gang doing their best to bring him down for them burnol is the solution.

well said. Specially live in Mangalore, drive on the roads here and then speak what kind of so called good infrastructure available here. The basic Ola/Uber facility also lacking in providing better service. Over charging by auto drivers, sky rocking prices for groceries. If you are true a true follower of PM Modi and his ideology then leave your job right now from Dubai and live here do something like "Make in India", "Athm nirbhar" etc.
