Mangaluru, Aug 3: A thief stole cash and other items from three shops at Olapete in Thokkottu late night on Wednesday August 2. The act of theft is caught on CCTV.
The thief entered Laxmi Canteen owned by Harishchandra Shetty, Silverstar Enterprises steel shop owned by Harris and SS Communications mobile phone shop owned by Mohan through the roof by removing the tiles. He stole cash and many other items.

The face and act of stealing is captured in the CCTV installed in Silverstar Enterprises. Police suspect the involvement of a migrant labourer of Nepal origin in the act. It is said that a same type of theft has occurred in many rural areas including Thokottu and Kankanady in the recent days.
