Mangaluru: Byresh of Expert PU College gets AIIMS seat, students shine at IIT

Mangaluru, Aug 3: Byresh, a student of Expert PU College, has achieved admission to the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi. Byresh secured an outstanding score of 710 out of 720 marks in the 2nd NEET 2023, earning the 48th All India Rank in the general merit category and the 2nd rank in the state.

Securing a seat in AIIMS New Delhi is the dream of every medical aspirant, and it is an aspiration for every educational institution to see their students admitted to this premier medical institution.

Notably, other students from Expert College have also excelled in their academic pursuits. Shalmik Abdul Rehman secured admission in JIPMER Pondicherry with a score of 702 out of 720 marks and an All India Rank of 180. Arnav Kamath secured admission in AIIMS Bhubaneswar, while Hemachandra C secured admission in AIIMS Mangalagiri with an impressive score of 680 marks.

The Expert College has a track record of 45% of its students securing admissions in esteemed medical institutions, including AIIMS New Delhi, other AIIMS branches, JIPMER Pondicherry, BMC, and KMC. This remarkable achievement stands as a matter of pride for the institution, and it is attributed to the dedication of students, the guidance of teachers, and the conducive study environment provided by the college, according to Prof. Narendra L Nayak, the chairman of the institution.

Expert students secure IIT admission

In addition to the medical admissions, Expert College students have also secured admissions in esteemed engineering institutions. Achinthya Aravinda Rai and Madhupriya K M have earned general merit seats in IIT Mumbai and IIT Roorkee, respectively. Achinthya Aravinda Rai achieved a remarkable 100 percentile in the Physics paper of JEE Main and secured an overall percentile of 99.8709961, obtaining the 1883rd rank in JEE Advanced. Similarly, Madhupriya scored a commendable 99.7100308 percentile in JEE Main and secured the 2922nd rank in the general merit category in JEE Advanced.

Furthermore, Ektha K Shet secured admission in IISER Thiruvananthapuram, and Medha got admission in the Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy Vishakhapatnam.
