Mangaluru, Aug 5: The city crime branch (CCB) police, who got a definite tip-off that a man is selling ganja to public on his two wheeler at Kankanady-Pumpwell area of the city, raided and arrested the accused.
The arrested accused is Mohammed Azeez (40), a resident of Mustafa Compound, Kodikal.
Police confiscated two kilos of ganja worth Rs 50,000 in the market, a two wheeler and a mobile phone. The total worth of confiscated goods is Rs 1.05 lac.
A case against Mohammed was registered for the same offence in 2022 at Konaje police station.
Shyam Sundar, Rajendra, Sudeep, Sharanappa, Narendra and other personnel of CCB took part in the operation.
