The incident took place at Yarthiganahalli village in Bengaluru Rural district.

The deceased mother has been identified as 60-year-old Chinnamma. The accused have been identified as the deceased's 40-year-old son -- Raghavendra and his 38-year-old wife Sudha. Police explained that there was a dispute over property between the deceased and her son.

Raghavendra had got the property registered in his name without the knowledge of his mother Chinnamma. The dispute is subjudice in the court.

Meanwhile, Chinnamma had come to the farm to collect fuel and her accused son had started a quarrel with her.

While quarreling, the accused attacked his mother with a stick. His wife Sudha also joined and attacked her. The couple had taken the injured Chinnamma to the hospital and tried to pose as innocents.

Chinnamma died due to severe bleeding. The police arrested the accused couple after the probe revealed their involvement in the murder. Investigation is on in the case.

RIP Chinamma! Having property and money is like hanging the Damocles 🗡️ arround your neck; either the property owner's life is at risk or there is 💯 % chance of the inheritors fighting a deadly fight like rabid dogs for a mega share of the bite; people who live a very simple and ordinary life, by the day, one day at a time, are the happiest!! Here, the daughter-in-law added fuel to the fire by further assaulting an already mauled Chinamma instead of stopping her husband; what's the use of such children??

Fully agree with you. In my case i have an inherited property from my parents and some hard earned money, but my better half is hell bent to transfer everything to her name, though i am crediting to her account the monthly expenses.

Bro; heeding/yeilding to her pressure will be like someone hitting the last nail on your coffin; day would not be far off when you will get dumped out of your own precious estate, however much rosy promises she/they give you! Also, wish mindfully that you do not catch the bed till the time the Creator gives the final call, because such sort of a greedy persona can go to any extent to fulfill her, whatever, desires! Believe me, never ever hand over the 🗝️ of your small kingdom in anybody's hands till you are alive! You are very unfortunate to be in company of such hungry wolves (definitely some influential persons from her side are also pumping her to usurp your property during your lifetime; the same story runs in most families, you are not alone)!! I don't want to elaborate further; wishing you all the best!!
