Bantwal, Aug 6: One person was injured in an accident that occurred in front of the Ukkuda checkpost on the Kalladka-Kanhangad interstate highway involving a bike and a scooter.
The injured person is identified as Abdulla Kunhi, a resident of Ukkuda.
The bike, coming from Vittal, collided with a Honda Activa scooter that was turning right from the Adyanadka end.
Abdulla Kunhi, the rider of the scooter, sustained leg injuries and has been admitted to the hospital.
