Kasaragod, Aug 7: A slab of a factory under reconstruction at Anantapur near Kumble fell on its supervisor on Monday, August 7, in the afternoon. Payyanur Keloth resident Rouf (60) was killed in the tragic incident.
The renovation of the factory which was initiated earlier was in progress for the last several years.
Rouf was pulled from under the slab and rushed to the hospital. But he had died by then. His mortal remains have been kept at the Kasaragod General Hospital morgue.
Kumble station police arrived at the spot and began investigations.
