Udupi: Washroom video case of paramedical college handed over to CID

Udupi, Aug 7: The Karnataka state government has handed over the washroom video case of Netrajyothi Paramedical College, Udupi to the Criminal Investigation department (CID). The incident was being discussed in mass circles.

Three Muslim female students had allegedly recorded the video of a Hindu girl in the college washroom on July 18. A suo moto police case in this connection was filed on July 26.



ABVP had protested requesting the state governor to hand over the case to the SIT. The case was filed with Malpe police station, Udupi.

The CID team will visit Udupi tomorrow sources said.

    The victim has admitted that it’s done with her permission hence no case has been filed. Now even suo moto case is irrelevant and CID team have to go back empty handed and take ABVP and BD to task for forcing them to wilderness where there is no offence committed. Khoda Pahad Nikla Chouha.

    Sitting in Bangalore from where did you get this info? According to sources in Udupi the victim was threatened against filing FIR. Let truth prevail and we hope it will be out soon.
