Mangaluru: Student cabinet for new academic year inaugurated at St Agnes College

Mangaluru, Aug 11: The inauguration of the student cabinet 2023-2024 of St Agnes College (autonomous) was held at its Mother Mary Aloysia Centenary Auditorium on Friday August 11.

Inaugurating the student cabinet, Karnataka Assembly speaker U T Khader said, “St Agnes Institution has been laying the foundation stone for the students’ careers for the past 100 years and building the nation. St Agnes has provided education for the past 100 years irrespective of religion, caste, and creed and are rendering service towards the society.

 

“The student cabinet inaugurated today will help the students to build leadership qualities and excel in their career. The student cabinet is the bridge between the students and the management. Show a constructive mind and not destructive one. Always be part of the solution not a part of the problem. Girls and women are born leaders, but they need to show courage and have positive attitude to move forward,” he said.

Meanwhile, St Agnes College felicitated Khader.

Principal St Agnes College Dr M Venissa AC administered the oath for the student cabinet members.

Convenor Shubharekha welcomed the gathering, Dr Premanand V proposed the vote of thanks and associate professor Rajath Nayak compered the event.

Joint secretary of St Agnes Institutions Sr Dr Maria Roopa, vice principal Sr Clara, PG coordinator Sr Dr Vinora, staff in-change of student cabinet Malavika, administrator Sr Carmel Rita, UG student president Shainy Manisha Pinto, and PG student president Aditi H P were present.
