Dr A P Radhakrishna, vice principal and head of physics, set the stage with his opening address, wherein he recounted ISRO’s profound contributions to space science and emphasized the pivotal role of space exploration in modern times.
As Vikrama flawlessly descended and made contact with the moon’s South Pole, a thunderous eruption of applause and a heartfelt standing ovation echoed through the hall. The students and teachers who had gathered for the momentous occasion were swept up in the excitement of witnessing history being made, creating a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.
