Panaji, Aug 30 (IANS): Reacting to rumours of alleged sex scandal involving a Goa cabinet minister, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday advised people not to intervene in others' personal life unless there is a complaint.
"One should not be defamed by taking their names. People should not intervene in the personal life of others. I advise everyone not to intervene in the personal life of others unless there is a complaint. If a complaint is made, then definitely it will be investigated," Sawant told reporters here.
He said that people should not defame any woman by making misuse of social media. "We have started an inquiry against whom we have received complaints. We will not tolerate such attempts of maligning the image of others," Sawant said.
According to him, an investigation is underway, upon receiving complaints, against those who shared photos of one woman linking her to an alleged sex scandal.
