Bantwal: DC Dr Chennappa Gowda Makes Surprise Visits to Department Offices

Bantwal, Aug 11: Dakshina Kannada DC Dr H N Chennappa Gowda paid a surprise visit to B C Road here on Wednesday August 10 and held discussions with various department officers on different issues.
 
Following general complaints about irregularities in distribution of LPG cylinders, Dr Gowda raided Bhadra Gas Agency and checked the ledgers.


 

He also admonished the officials of Ircon International, the contractors of four-lane conversion and fly-over work, and instructed them to clear the mess that was created below the flyover which has been causing hindrance to motorists and pedestrians alike. 

Dr Gowda also visited an Anganawadi centre in Melkar and gathered information from the women and child welfare officer.  The surprise visits were held to improve the efficiency of department officers.

    It is really a wonder that an official like DC admonished the "contractors" of the fly over work. Certainly he must know who is really responsible for the mess. Why did he not bring or contact the project director of highway construction? Is it not the project director the real culprit? Definitely DC is doing some eyewashing business here.

    People from D.K. district can start to feel the difference in coming days that our new C.M. Mr. D.V.S. already started his work what he commented at the time oath taking ceremony. D.C. might have got the instructions from him and immediately he is in action. We can see more and more news regarding the same in coming days. Jai Karnataka. Mr.C.M. don't turn back go ahead with your motive and rule the state as a honest person and get back honour that we lost due to all corrouption.
