Mangalore: Annual 'Samudra Puja' at Tannirbavi on August 13

Mangalore, Aug 12: The customary annual feature, ‘Samudra Puja’, will be offered at 11 am on Saturday August 13 at Tannirbavi beach here. The programme is being held under the aegis of Mangalore Elu Patna Mogaveera Samyukta Sabha.

Earlier in the day, a procession will be taken out from Kudroli Srirama Bhajana Mandir at 9 am, to the spot of the puja. Sri Raja Sandhyanathji, head of Kadri Jogi Mutt, will take part in the programme and deliver benedictory address at the venue of the puja.

Former union minister, B Janardhan Poojary, and deputy speaker of the state assembly, Yogish Bhat, will participate as chief guests of the programme, it is gathered.
