Mangaluru: SJEC's dept of civil engineering holds three-day training on DCET 2023

Mangaluru, Sep 9: Athree-day training on DCET 2023 was organized in the department of civil engineering from August 31 to September 2. The programme was aimed to equip students with knowledge from all the branches who have completed diploma in the year 2023 and are willing to write current year DCET.

After briefing about the training and a short introduction by the programme coordinator, Rohith Prakash, the training programme began as per the schedule and continued for the remaining days.The wide variety of subjects were scheduled as per the syllabus of DCET 2023 and contents were delivered by the domain experts from various departments. Two-and-a-half day training ended with a concluding remark from the head of the department, civil engineering, Dr Yajnheswaran B, followed by a campus tour where students visited the labs, facilities and amenities of SJEC.

A 'Mock DCET 2023' was conducted on the afternoon session of third day from 2 pm to 5 pm. Out of 39 registered students, 21 students turned up and were benefited with the training provided. The three-day training conducted by faculty and experts from various disciplines helped students to equip them with the knowledge and courage to face DCET 2023.
