Udupi: Photography Contest Themed ‘Colours of Sri Krishna’, Invites Entries

Udupi, Aug 13: Under the aegis of Sri Krishna Mutt and Udupi Press Photographers’ Association (UPPA), state-level photography competitions themed ‘Colours of Sri Krishna’ and ‘Udupi Vittal Pindi’ are being organized for the general public, and will be sponsored by Vodaphone.
 
Four pictures of size 12 x 18, shot in Udupi district or any part of Karnataka qualify for the ‘Colours of Sri Krishna’ category. There are no entry fees.
 
The first prize carries a cash reward of Rs 8,000, a citation letter, and a trophy. The second prize carries a cash reward of Rs 4,000, a citation letter, and a trophy.  The third prize carries a cash reward of Rs 2,000, a citation letter, and a trophy.  Four consolation prizes carry a cash reward of Rs 1,000 each and a citation letter.
 
Udupi Vittla Pindi:
 
Four pictures of sizes 12 x 18 should be shot during Vittal Pindi celebrations in Udupi on Monday August 22.  There are no entry fees.
 
The first prize carries a cash reward of Rs 4,000 each, a citation letter, and a trophy.  The second prize carries a cash reward of Rs 2,000 each, a citation letter, and a trophy.  The third prize carries a cash reward of Rs 1,000, a citation letter, and a trophy.  Four consolation prizes carry a cash reward of Rs 500 each and a citation letter.
 
The pictures can be e-mailed by logging into www.udupishiroormutt.in or personally handed over at Sri Krishna Mutt office by Wednesday September 7.
