Mangalore: Upa-Karma Ritual Performed at Kalikamba Vinayak Temple

Mangalore, Aug 13: The vedic ritual of Upa Karma (Noola Hunnime) was performed at Sri Kalikamba Vinayaka temple in city on Saturday August 13.

Brahmashree K Dhamodhar Purushotham was the chief priest.

After the ‘havan’ people belonging to Brahmin community wore ‘holy threads’. Managing trustee of Sri Kshetra K Keshava Acharya, M Vishwanath Achar and K Damodar Achar, K Umesh Tantri among others were present.
