Chaitra Kundapura BJP ticket scam case: Swamiji applies for anticipatory bail from unknown location

Bengaluru, Sep 16: Abinava Halaveerappasree, seer of Hirehadagali Halushree math of Vijanagar district, who is the third accused in the Rs seven crore cheating case of promising to provide MLA ticket to Govinda Babu Poojary, an entrepreneur based in Udupi, has applied for anticipatory bail from an unknown location.

Lawyer for the Swamiji applied for bail at the 57th CCH court in the city. The inquiry of the bail application will be held on Saturday.

Swamiji is absconding from the time his name was mentioned by first accused Chaitra in the multi crore cheating case. CCB police are hunting for the seer.

Main accused Chaitra Kundapura is in police custody and is being interrogated.
