Kundapur: Mentally ill youth goes missing, no trace even after five days

Kundapur, Sep 21: Vivekananda (28), a resident of Thombattu Irkigadde of Macchattu village, who is suffering from mental illness went missing from his home in the evening on September 16. Even after five days he is not traced.

Vivekananda is 4.8 feet tall, has oil black complexion, chiselled face and slim built. He was wearing yellow t-shirt and blue short when he was last seen.

A case is filed in Amasebail police station by Sadananda Naika, brother of missing Vivekananda Naika.

It is suspected that Vivekananda might have gone into the forest by mistake. People are searching for him since five days. The area is infested by leopards. So far, the forest department has not joined hands with locals.
