Mangalore: New Bus Stand Opens at Access Road to Airport in Karambar

Mangalore, Aug 17:
The new bus stand constructed at the intersection of the access road to the city airport in Karambar by Mariapura Youth Organisation of Adyapady parish was inaugurated on Monday August 15.
 
Mulky–Moodbidri MLA Abayachandra Jain inaugurated the new bus stand here on Monday morning.
 


Fr Melwyn D’Souza, parish priest, Mary Help of Christians, Adyapady, blessed the newly-built bus stand.
 
TP member Johnson Lobo, Lavina Maria Veigas, and ZP member Ritesh Shetty were the guests of honour.
 
The initiative to construct the bus shelter was taken by Mariapura Youth Organisation represented by Gratian Mathias, Alwyn Mathias, Felix Mathias, Nelson Monteiro, Suresh Mascarenhas, as well as local leaders Jagannath Salian, C M Fernandes, and Walter Monteiro.

    It's better to build a retaining wall behind the bus stop so that it will not collapse due to the rains. At least we can plant some trees and some shurbs to hold it tight.

    congratulations to all mariapura youths,all supporters,political supporters,religious supporters,u all done good work,keep it up ,pls arrange a richsaw stand too nr bus-stand and one near airport taxi stand so that some workers or poor people who come back from air port can access to this facility,thanks wish u good luck.
