Kundapur: Man found after going missing for eight days in forest

Kundapur, Sep 23: A local resident who was reportedly missing was found in a forest after eight days.

The man who went missing and was found later is identified as Vivekananda (28), son of Sheena Naika, a resident of Thombottu Irkigadde, Muchattu here.

He had gone out from his house on September 16 and went missing. He was not found anywhere even after a wide search. He was found at Kabbinale, near Thombottu on Saturday September 23.

He was wandering about in the forest without food for the last eight days and was found near a house at Kabbinale.

Police said that he had become very weak without food.

    If I am not mistaken, there was an earlier news report of him battling some mental issues; lucky that he was found alive; might have survived drinking stream water as it's almost impossible to survive without water for more than 3 days!!

    Really pained to read this news.He struggled for food.He struggled in the night.He feared about wild animals..Only God came to the rescue.His prayers were listened. .There is no doubt about it.
