Winners of Daijiworld Udupi, Kishoo Enterprises 'Chelva Krishna', 'Radhakrishna' photo contests

Udupi, Sep 27: The winners have been anounced for the 'Chelva Krishna' and 'Radhakrishna' photo contest organised by Daijiworld Udupi and Kishoo Enterprises on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami 2023.

Aarav Shenoy Renjala and Sheethal-Shravya Basrur have won the first place in 'Chelva Krishna' and 'Radhakrishna' photo contests respectively.

The 'Chelva Krishna' and 'Radhakrishna' photo contest were highly anticipated. This photography competition invited participants to capture the spirit and essence of this auspicious festival through their lens.

The contest, which ran from August 20 to September 10, received an overwhelming response from both amateur and professional photographers across the region.

Participants were encouraged to submit their best photographs showcasing the various facets of Lord Krishna, the divine play of Radha and Krishna, and the vibrant celebrations of Janmashtami.

“More than 700 entries were received for the 'Chelva Krishna' photo contest this year. Every photo was the best compared to another. It was a difficult task for us to select the best picture” said Daya Kukkaje, renowned photojournalist of Daijiworld.com and member of the judging panel for the contest.

Sathish Ira, renowned photojournalist and another member of the judging panel sharing his experience about the judgment said “Daijiworld Udupi  has incited religious feelings in every household through this contest. We received good quality pictures this time. I congratulate all the winners and thank Daijiworld Udupi for organizing such a photo contest.”  

After careful consideration and deliberation by esteemed panel of judges, the following winners were selected:

Third : Abhyansh Ajith Manohar, Kinnigoli

Consolation prizes:

Aaryaveer A N, Karkala Samitha P Bhat, Kodavoor  Lahari R Rao, Ambagilu have won consolation prizes. 

Judges choice:

Dhruvi D Acharya, Vamanjoor Mangaluru Pranavi Bhat, Perdoor Shlok C Shetty, Udupi have won judges choice awards.

 

Radhakrishna photo contest:

First : Sheethal and Shravya,  Basrur

Second : Saurav A Kotian and Saanvi A Kotian, Chitrapu Mulki

Third:  Advithi and Tasmai G

Consolation prizes:

Shanvi and Prapthi Kotian, Jeppu Harshil and Vaishnavi, Santhekatte Charvi and Rachith, Brahmavar have won consolation prizes.

The first, second, third place winners will be awarded with Rs 5,000, Rs 3,000 and Rs 2,000 respectively along with a trophy and a certificate in both the contests.

Consolation prize winners will be awarded with a cash prize of Rs 1,000 each along with a trophy and a certificate.
