Karkala MLA writes letter to railway minister to introduce Mangaluru-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express

Karkala, Sep 29: Three Vande Bharat express trains are running in Karnataka at present. In addition, Vande Bharat train is required between Mangaluru and Mumbai very urgently. Accordingly, Karkala MLA V Sunil Kumar has made appeal to union railway minister in this regard by sending a letter through the MP.

People of coastal region have close connection with Mumbai in business, economy and other activities. Everyday hundreds of people travel to Mumbai from the coastal districts. By introducing Vande Bharat train, the journey time will be reduced and also beneficial finance wise to the passengers.

In this regard, MLA V Sunil Kumar appealed to union railway minister to introduce a new Vande Bharat express train between Mangaluru and Mumbai.
