Bantwal, Aug 19: Young entrepreneur, social worker, and former president of the local taluk panchayat, Bolantoor Chandrahas Shetty, who had attempted to commit suicide by firing a shot at his head on Wednesday, continues to be in the intensive care unit of a private hospital in Mangalore. It is learnt that his condition is stable.
Shetty had tried to kill himself because of protracted health problems, it is said. He continues to be on ventilator, it is gathered. Sources also said that specialist doctors examined him in detail on Thursday night.
