Daijiworld Media Network – Bantwal (MS)

Bantwal, Oct 2: A man killed himself early in the morning on Monday October 2, by jumping into a pond at Parlottu near Neralakatte on Mani-Mysuru state highway.

The deceased is identified as Narayana Kulal, a resident of Soorikumer, owner of Amulya Art Gallery. He was also working as an LIC agent also.

Local residents saw a bike, mobile phone and footwear near the pond at Parlottu at around 5 am and suspected that someone has jumped into the pond. They informed Vittal police and fire service personnel.

Fire service personnel arrived on the spot and searched for the mortal remains and retrieved the same from the pond. Local residents who gathered near the pond, identified the deceased.

Though it looks like a case of suicide prima facie, the exact cause of death will be known only after police investigation. Vittal police are investigating further.

Very sad.He not only took off his own life but certainly a big sock to family afterwards. Before getting into this decision kindly think what will be your family do without you. When is not success ful in one business, let it off and start somewhere else as a worker. That might bring some money to you.Not always take the ultimum decision .Be self .Heartfelt sympathy to the family.May his soul rest in peace.

RIP! I presume reason for suicide is financial breakdown as he owned a big fancy showroom only selling various types of clay items and showpieces ; which could not have sustained for long especially in the area where it's located! BTW, with the advent of cheap plastic, aluminum items, these clay items are not fancied by many people, except by those who know it's significance; but then again comes the cost and durability factor which dissuades people from buying it!

Post Covid-induced pandemic, it has AND is becoming difficult for everyone to ADAPT to a new virtual world. The several suicides are a result of failed "trial and error method" probably adopted by several suicider's and the aftermath of the same as they couldn't see light at the end of the tunnel.

Seeing his bike condtion with hooked plastic bags do you think he is living luxurious life. Seeing his bike condition, in my view he is very hard working person with minumum profit. He is owner of ART Gallery! but due to governents senseless very high taxes (18-28 percent for artwork / frame work jobs.) he or any sincere worker cant live on this high price conditions. Govt have to something to reduce taxes. OM SHANTHI.
