Kasaragod, Oct 2: A man, who was accused of a murder, was killed heinously by hitting head with stone. His body was found in a bush at Kumble.
The deceased is identified as Abdul Rasheed (38), a resident of Shantipalla of Kumble. His mortal remains were found in a bush near a ground a little distance away from Kumble. Abdul was accused in the murder case of Shanwaz (24), a resident of Madhoor Patla.
Children who had gone to play at the ground on Monday morning, noticed the blood stains on the ground and informed the matter to local residents. When the locals started search, they found the mortal remains in a bush 50 meters from the ground.
Kumble police arrived on the spot with canine squad and finger print experts.
Abdul was involved in the murder case of Shanu, who was killed on October 18, 2019. Shanu was murdered and his body was thrown into a deserted well near Nayak’s Road in the city. Shanu was killed due to some misunderstanding in a drug deal. Kasargod police had arrested four people including Abdul Rasheed in connection with the murder of Shanu.
Police informed that several cases are filed against Rasheed in Kumble and Kasaragod police stations.
