Udupi, Aug 20: Udupi and Kaup zones of South Kanara Photographers’ Association (SKPA) staged a bike rally here on Friday August 19, on the occasion of ‘World Photography Day’, in support of Anna Hazare’s struggle to introduce the Jan Lokpal Bill in Parliament.
SKPA president Sridar Shettigar, chief secretary Dhananjay Poojary, Vasudev Rao, Praveen Correa, Ratan Shetty, Mitra Kumar, Anish Shettigar, Prasad Jattanna, Sundar K G Road, Janardhan Kodavoor, Praveen Kumar Kurkal, Pramod Suvarna Shankarapura, Bhakta Prasad Kaup, Praveen Kaup, Vinod Shankarapura, Krishna Rao Majoor, and Srinivas Aithal were present on the occasion.
A memorandum was presented to district headquarter assistant Prabhakar after the bike rally.
Daily necessities were distributed to the inmates of Spandana Special School, Nejar, near Kallianpur, by SKPA later.
