Mangaluru: Inaugural programme of Commerce Association held at Car Street govt college

Mangaluru, Oct 7: The inaugural programme of Commerce Association for the academic year 2023-24 was held on October 6 at Dr P Dayananda Pai - P Satisha Pai Government First Grade College, Car Street.

Dr Geetha M L, professor and head of the department of commerce at government first grade college, Kavoor, was the chief guest for the inaugural. She made a short powerpoint presentation as to why we need a commerce association in a college and the host of activities that the commerce association can undertake during the year.

Dr Jayakara Bhandary M, principal of the college presided over the inaugural, Louis Manoj, coordinator of commerce association welcomed the gathering, Suvarnamalini B, HoD of commerce and Dr Jyoti Priya, IQAC coordinator were present on stage and Varnashree of III BCom C, commerce association secretary proposed the vote of thanks.

The inaugural programme was graced by Dr Malathy K, Mohini and Nagaraj from the department of commerce and over 160 commerce students.

The inaugural was eloquently compered by Pratheeksha of II BCom A and the prayer song was rendered by students of II BCom A batch.
