Sullia: Thieves break rear windshield of car, steal valuables, documents; plaint filed

Sullia, Oct 11: The glass pane of a car belonging to a man from Kerala was smashed and valuables including gold and documents in the car were stolen in an incident that occurred at Subrahmanya.

Suyish (34) of Kannur district was on a visit to Subrahmanya for an interview. In his complaint filed with the police he said that he along with his aunt had come to Kukke Subrahmanya in his car on Sunday, October 8 in the evening. He had parked his car on the car street which is close to the temple and had gone to have darshan. After he had finished the pooja programme at the temple and returned to the car street after a while, he found the rear windshield of his car smashed. He said in the complaint that he had noticed that two bags containing valuables kept in the car were also stolen.

He said in his complaint that the bag contained valuables including about 14 grams of gold besides some important documents such as Aadhaar card, ATM card etc.

Subrahmanya police have registered a case.
