Kundapur, Oct 21: Prarthana Pai, ninth grade student of S V English Medium School of Gangolli, bagged gold in the in the state level shuttle badminton championship by the department of school education Bengaluru on Thursday, October 19.
She represented Mysuru division team in the tournament held at Jain Sports School of Kanakapur taluk of Ramnagar district.
Prarthana had bagged second place in the Mysuru division shuttle badminton tournament that was held in Udupi earlier and was selected to represent Mysuru division.
Prarthana is the daughter of journalist Raghavendra Pai and Radhika. The school administrative committee, head teacher, teachers and non-teaching staff have extended their congratulations to Prarthana.
