Tumkur, Aug 25: The policemen arrested a man on Wednesday August 24, for repeatedly trying to rape his daughter.
The accused arrested person has been identified as Nagaraj (44), a resident of Alkere Hosahalli village in the taluk. He is a resident of Janata Colony in Mallaghatta gram panchayat. He is an employee of Johnson factory.
His daughter used to frequently visit the home of her grandmother in Toobinakere within Amritoor revenue division. Often she remained absent from school for staying at her grandmother’s place. Growing suspicious over her changed behaviour, her grandmother and uncle interacted with her, and came to know that the girl was scared of her father because of his sexual advances.
The police arrested the man and registered a case against him.
