Udupi: Anjaneya Prasad Assumes Charge as Syndicate Bank ED

Udupi, Aug 26: M Anjaneya Prasad took charge as the new executive director of Syndicate Bank on Wednesday August 24, a release by the bank said. Earlier, he was working as general manager of public sector Andhra Bank.

After joining Andhra Bank in 1978 as probationary officer, he had worked as executive secretary to chairman and managing director, board secretary, zonal manager of Chennai zone and in-charge of market management at head office. Since 2008, he was functioning as the general manager of Mumbai zone, in which capacity he oversaw operations of the bank in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa states.

Anjaneya Prasad is a post graduate in statistics and MBA with CAIIB,. He brings with him vast experience of having worked in various capacities at different centres.
