Mangalore: Rain Wanes, But Keeps Date with Night

Mangalore, Aug 27: Most of the places in the coast and a few places in the hinterland received rain on Friday August 26. Rainfall was lesser as compared to previous days all over the coast. Good rain however, was experienced on Friday night.

Siddapur in Kundapur taluk, Udupi district, received the highest rainfall of six cm. On an average, coastal Karnataka registered two cm of rainfall.

The prediction of the meteorological department, valid till Sunday morning, says that most of the regions in the coast, some in northern hinterland and a few in the southern hinterland, will get rain.
