Several people among those who were educated by its night school have become respectable citizens and have received prestige and respect by holding high positions in the society. Education is the only tool that can change the world”, said Purushotham S Kotian, president of Vidyadaini sabha. He was speaking after presiding over the concluding programme of Vidyadaini centenary celebrations at Billava Bhavan,

Vidyadaini sabha conferred Billavara Association Mumbai president Harish G Ameen with ‘Shatamanada Shresta Samaja Sevaka’ title and Billava Chamber of Commerce and Industries president, entrepreneur N T Poojary with ‘Shatamanada Shresta Udyami’ title. Vidyadaini sabha president Purushotham S Kotian was felicitated.
Momita Harish Ameen, Yashodha Narayana Poojary and Puja Purushotham Kotian were on the dais.
Sports person Moksha Suresh Poojary was presented with the sports prize. Programme organizers Sachendra Ambagilu and Harini Nilesh Poojary were also honoured.
Vidyadaini Sabha honorary secretary Chitrapu K M Kotian gave an introductory address. Gaurav Kotian of the centenary committee read the letters of felicitations. Sachendra Ambagilu, Harini Nilesh Poojary and Vidyadaini sabha joint secretary Harish Shanti compered the programme. Joint secretary Umesh Kanchan cooperated.
