Bengaluru, Nov 2: Police have successfully identified the accused person, who behaved indecently with a woman in a mall in the city, based on the CCTV footage.
The accused is identified as Ashwath Narayan (60), a resident of Basaveshwara Nagar. However, he has escaped from his residence. As the video went viral, netizens urged the police to arrest the culprit. The manager of the mall also filed a complaint with the police as the video went viral.
It is said that the accused worked for a school managed by a prestigious Math as a head teacher and retired just eight months ago.
Magadi police have launched a manhunt for Ashwath, who has locked his house and escaped from the vicinity.
