Udupi: Wokshop Held on Origamy for High School students

Udupi, Aug 27: A Workshop on origamy (use of paper to prepare science and mathematics model)  was organized in Milagres College, Kallianpur here on Friday August 26 in association with regional science centre, Pilikula, Mangalore.

BEO of Brahmavar region Nagesh Shananboque inaugurated the work shop.

In his message he called upon students to enjoy mathematics and science and to enhance their interest in the subjects by preparing models. 

Dr K V Rao the secretary of Regional science centre was the chief guest for the occasion.

A S Shastry of Kolar was the resource person. Prof Hilda Rodrigues the incharge principal presided over the programme. Dr Gerald Pinto the Dean of Science was the co-ordinator.

As many as 120 students from 10 high Schools participated in the workshop.
