Mumbai, Nov 3: Member of I-Lesa, script writer Anant Rao has been selected for Da Ra Bendre international award being presented by Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangha every year for Karnataka Rajyotsava.

The award will be presented during the programme at India Social and Culture Center Abu Dhabi on November 5. The award is being presented to achievers who preserve and promote literary culture.

Indian ambassador to UAE H E Sanjay Sudheer will participate in the programme as the chief guest. It will be held under the leadership of Abu Dhabi Kannada Sangha president Sarvotham Shetty. Well known music director Harikatha Vidwan Thonse Pushkala Kumar will grace the occasion. Cultural celebrations, Janapada dances and felicitations to best Kannada students will be held during the event in memory of Puneet Rajkumar. I-Lesa, the voice of ocean organization has conveyed their best wishes for the success of the programme and congratulated the felicities.
