Mangaluru: Appeal over various demands of GP employees submitted to MLC

Mangaluru, Nov 6: An appeal was submitted to MLC Manjunath Bhandary to approve the positions of data entry operators who were recruited before 31.10.2017 and also various demands of gram panchayat employees.

Holding a lengthy discussion with the employees, MLC Bhandary said that he will draw the attention of the government in this regard and write a letter to the minister. He also said that discussion was held with regard to pay scale according to seniority of service, recruitment of grade two secretary and account assistants and permanent job to those who were recruited on temporary basis before 31.10.2017.

President of CITU of Udupi district, chief secretary, presidents of taluk units, office bearers and data entry operators of district were present.
