New Delhi, Oct 28: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has named Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri as its candidate for the 2026 Rajya Sabha by-election in Madhya Pradesh.

In a press release dated October 28, the BJP's Central Election Committee announced its approval of Puri's candidature for the bypoll.

The announcement was issued from the party's central office in New Delhi.
