Mangaluru, Nov 11: The inauguration of the annual sports day was held in St Lawrence English Medium School Bondel on November 10 in the school ground.
National level football player Christal Ann Pinto being the chief guest of the inaugural function hoisted the school Flag. She was honoured and felicitated for her outstanding achievement in football. In her motivational speech she said, "Winners never quit and quitters never win, therefore students should never quit in order to achieve.”
The correspondent of the institution Fr Andrew Leo D'Souza addressed the gathering and wished all the staff and students all success in two-day sports event.
Fr Peter Gonsalves the principal, Fr Lancy D'Souza the assistant parish priest, Ramya Shetty the vice president of PTA were present at the event.
