Udupi, Sep 3: A massive tree uprooted on the auditorium of Siddi Vinayaka temple, Uppoor, and Tenkabettu post office, in the wee hours on Friday September 2, owing to incessant rains that have been lashing across coastal Karnataka for over four days.

The massive tree, which is nearly a century old, was located in the compound of Siddi Vinayaka temple. It damaged the auditorium, the roof of the post office, furniture, and fixtures.
