Mount Carmel’s Jesnia Correa wins big at CBSE National Level Skating Competition, Haryana

Mangaluru, Nov 28: The talent and hard work of Jesnia Correa, a student of Grade VII at Mount Carmel Central School, Maryhill, Mangaluru has reaped great reward at the CBSE National Level Skating Competition held at Gurugram Global Heights School, Haryana on November 25 and 26. Inspiring many a students, the young girl bagged Gold in the 500 mtrs rink race and Bronze in the 1000 mtrs event in under 14 girls category.

Prior to this, Jesnia has participated in a number of skating competitions organized by various organizations and has won several medals. She is a national level gold medal winner in skating in the year 2019, 2021 and 2022.

Jesnia is the daughter of Jerome Correa and Preetha Correa of Bejai and is getting coached at Mangalore Roller Skating Club under the guidance of Mahesh Kumar.

The management, principal, staff, students and parents of MCCS congratulate this young achiever and wish her well in her future events.
