Mangalore, Sep 3: Catholic Board of Education, Mangalore, celebrated ‘Teachers’ Day at the conference hall of Shanthi Kiran, Nanthur, on Friday September 2.
Retired teachers, brilliant students, and heads of educational institutions that obtained good results were honoured on the occasion.
Monsignor Denis Moras Prabhu, vicar general of Mangalore Diocese, presided over the function. Prof. H R Natraj Urs, regional joint director, College Education Department, Moses Jayashekar, deputy director, Public Instruction Department, DK district, and Dayavathi, zonal education officer, Mangalore, were the chief guests.
