Daijiworld Media Network – Beltangady (MS)

Beltangady, Dec 3: In an unfortunate incident, miscreants targeted and vandalized a roadside petty shop at Boodajalu in Nidle village on Friday night. A formal complaint has been lodged at the Dharmastala police station.

Abdul Aziz, a resident of Mallige Majalu in Kokkada village, had been operating the petty shop along the highway for the past three years. As per his routine, he closed the shop after business hours on Friday night and returned home. To his dismay, upon returning on Saturday morning, he discovered that his shop had been vandalized.

The perpetrators had strewn all the items from the shop onto the road, and the cold drink bottles were shattered.

The Dharmastala police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
