Mumbai, Dec 5: The Shashtyabda Samithi, Poornaprajna Vidyapeetha Prathistana, Pejavar math Mumbai and devotees celebrated the 60th Shashtyabda of Vishwaprasanna Theertha at Madhva Bhavan, Santacruz east on Sunday evening, December 3. The seer released ‘Vayu Stuthi’ book by veteran author Dr G V Kulkarni, blessed the devotees and addressed the gathering.

The seer felicitated with shawls Adamaru math Mumbai branch’s Padubidri V Rajesh Rao, Udupi Palimar math Mumbai branch’s Vasudev Bhat, Subrahmanya math Mumbai branch’s Vishnu Karanth Uddabettu, Shekar J Salian and Sarita S Salian couple.
The programme was set in motion after remembering the late Vishweshatheertha Sripada. Dr M S Alva welcomed. The programme started with slogan shouting by the students of Poornaprajna Vidyapeeta and playing of flute by Ananda Theertha and Sathyaveer Rao. Shashtyabda Samithi joint secretary Raghavendra Jamadagni gave an introduction. Vidwan K Krishnaraj Tantri gave a congratulatory address. Dr Ramadas Upadhyaya Renjala introduced the guests, compered the programme and proposed a vote of thanks.
Heads of various maths and religious organizations in Mumbai including Parel Srinivas Bhat and devotees took part and congratulated the seer. The seer blessed and presented Mantrakshathe to them. Children of Chinnara Bimba Santacruz branch sang bhajans. Vishwanath Shetty Mahim presented Bhaktha Lahari music. The programme concluded after the distribution of Theertha Prasada and Anna Santarpane.
