Beltangady: 65-yr-old man falls into river while catching fish, dies

Beltangady, Dec 10: A man, who went to catch fish in the river died as he fell into it at Nerolpalke on the banks of Netravati river at Kalmanja village.

Keshava Gowda (65), a resident of Mundrupadi Kulenjilodi of Dharmasthala village, is the deceased.

Gowda went to catch fish on Thursday night and his mortal remains were found in the river on Friday in the morning.

A case in this connection has been filed with Dharmasthala police station.
